Mount Cook Heliski is professionally guided by Alpine Guides, and flown by The Helicopter Line. The heliski area is a wilderness of ancient glaciers, azure lakes, and endless runs - across 6 mountain ranges. Mount Cook Heliski has runs to suit all levels of heli-ski ability. They have exclusive terrain in Aoraki Mount Cook National Park. Mount Cook heliski offer premium small group Heliskiing with 4 guests per guide and a maximum of 3 groups per helicopter.

The heliski area is a wilderness of ancient glaciers, azure lakes, and endless runs - across 6 mountain ranges. Mount Cook Heliski has runs to suit all levels of heli-ski ability. They have exclusive terrain in Aoraki Mount Cook National Park. The longest run is 4km over a 1,100 metre descent.

Mount Cook Heliski does not have their own lodge however Travelplan offers accommodation at The Hermitage Hotel or Mt Cook Lodge and Hotel.

Getting There & Around

Alpine Guides staff meet groups at Christchurch airport and transport them directly to Mount Cook.

Heli Pad Location

Check - in is at 9 am at Glentanner Park, 12 minutes drive from Mt Cook village, less than an hour from Lake Tekapo. Occasionally they operate from Mount Cook Airport (10 minutes drive away).
