An area of consistently high snowfall the Cariboos offer versatile skiing with the added advantage of below tree line skiing on days when the weather is poor.

Every day you’ll carve the first tracks in the backcountry, with your team of accomplished guides providing support when you need it with customised service and the highest guide to guest ratio.

The terrain of the Cariboos is an amalgamation of all the different kinds of features that make up great skiing. Guests of the Cariboos can enjoy a huge range of runs including long powder-cloaked old-growth forests, steep serpentine ridgelines, friendly glades, rock-edged couloirs, undulating glaciers as well as planar mountain faces, not to mention chaotic combinations of all of the above!

Skier Level: The Cariboos are suitable only for physically fit, well-experienced skiers and snowboarders who enjoy a fast pace.

Snow conditions this good are meant to be enjoyed, but your independent non-skiing spouse or friend won’t begrudge you your runs. That’s because they’ll be otherwise occupied – with self-guided snowshoeing, climbing, or a massage.

Getting There & Around

There are a number of ways to travel to CMH Cariboos Lodge, you can ride in one of the CMH coaches (with designated pick up/drop off locations), or drive yourself to the Helipad. If you choose to self-drive to the CMH Cariboos Helipad, please arrive by 09:30 PT 10:30 MT to ensure a proper introduction to the Cariboos program. If you miss your scheduled heli-transfer, you will be subject to additional transportation costs.
