SilverStar Mountain Resort is a charming village reminiscent of an old silver mining town with colourful buildings lining streets named after historic mines. This village is renowned for its relaxed atmosphere and friendly, helpful staff.

Skiing & Boarding

SilverStar is renowned for its champagne powder. Spanning around 1,300 hectares of varied terrain across four mountain faces, and connected by 128 runs, this resort is relaxed and uncrowded… in fact, there’s rarely the need to queue for a lift, and you’re likely to find a whole run to yourself. SilverStar Mountain Resort has everything to keep you entertained and challenged, regardless of ability. Take it easy on long, perfectly groomed cruisers, enjoy the scenery on gladed runs and challenge your willpower as you tackle steep, deep powder filled chutes, long winch-cat black diamond runs and seemingly untouched back-country. SilverStar’s award winning Terrain Park comprises four separate parks to suit the needs of different abilities – known as Small Lane, Medium Lane, Large Lane and X-Large Lane. These safe, progressive terrain parks and rail gardens take up 6.5 hectares and offer an assortment of table tops, step-up jumps, boxes and rails designed to help you take your park skiing and riding to the next level.

Activities

SilverStar is a fun family-friendly ski resort that’s been purpose designed to keep you entertained. While you’re here you can experience Nordic skiing, snowmobiling and more. Take advantage of 16km of spectacular snowshoe trails, speed downhill on tubes at the Tube Town Adventure Park, enjoy ice-skating on SilverStar’s frozen mountain pond, and take the opportunity to experience playing ice hockey. While you’re here, why not give fat biking a go on SilverStar’s 6.5km of dedicated snow trails. Had enough of the cold? Jump inside for a game of indoor bowls or soak away the aches and pains in a hot tub.

Getting There & Around

To get there, take a quick 45-minute flight from Vancouver which is serviced by Air Canada. Airport shuttles meet every flight and take you directly to the resort in under an hour. Inter resort shuttles are available from Whistler, Big White and Sun Peaks if you’re looking at exploring another destination while in Canada.
